How to Plan Your Converting Line Project

Full-Cycle Support – From pre-sales planning to after-sales optimization, we stay with your project.

One-stop solution process

We are not just equipment suppliers; we are your trusted long-term partner on the production line. From pre-sales solutions to post-sales maintenance, the Longge team is with you every step of the way, ensuring you can “buy with confidence and use with peace of mind.”

4-Step Project Planning
Process

Planning an efficient and stable coating, slitting, or printing line requires careful consideration of budget, process, equipment, materials, layout, and delivery. We have created this streamlined step-by-step guide to help you make every key decision with confidence. With our professional support throughout the journey, your project will move from concept to production smoothly and successfully.

Step 1: Plan & Design

We do not charge any consultation fees during the pre-sales phase. We believe that only by fully understanding your needs can we provide a solution that truly fits your requirements.
  • Free needs assessment: capacity goals, product positioning, budget, substrates, target applications
  • Customized solution design with equipment recommendations and capacity estimation
  • Material testing and parameter validation (samples or on-site trials)
Plan & Design
What You Need to Consider
What is your budget?
A

Share your investment range and expected payback period. We will match equipment configuration and capacity so the line fits both your process and your budget.

What substrates and functionalities do you need?
A

The optimal choice depends primarily on the performance requirements of your end product and your existing processing methods. Tell us the substrates, coating or converting functions, and we will recommend a matched process.

What are your target end products?
A

From packaging films and coated paper to specialty converting, your target products determine width, speed, and downstream equipment. We design around the finished goods you actually need to sell.

Step 2: Select & Customize

  • Factory visits and live machine demonstrations
  • HD operation videos and finished product samples
  • Multi-dimensional selection advice (coaters / slitters / printers / specialty equipment)
  • Customization: control units, width / speed adjustments
Select & Customize
What You Need to Consider
Should I visit the factory before ordering?
A

A factory visit and live demonstration help you verify build quality, process capability, and after-sales support. If travel is difficult, we can provide HD videos, samples, and remote walkthroughs.

Can the machine be customized for my plant?
A

Yes. Width, speed, control units, and layout can be adjusted to your workshop, power supply, and operator habits, so the line fits your plant rather than the other way around.

How do I compare different models?
A

We compare capacity, substrate range, automation level, and total cost of ownership—not just unit price—so you can choose the configuration that matches your products and growth plan.

Step 3: Deliver & Train

  • Detailed project timeline (design, production, QC, shipping, installation)
  • Dedicated service group with real-time photo / video updates
  • On-site installation and commissioning with your materials
  • Role-based hands-on training
  • Multilingual manuals and training videos
  • Special support: USB drive with local language instructions (for restricted regions)
Deliver & Train
What You Need to Consider
How long does delivery and installation take?
A

Lead time depends on customization and shipping route. You will receive a clear timeline covering design, production, QC, shipping, and on-site installation, with progress updates along the way.

Do you train our operators on site?
A

Yes. We provide role-based hands-on training during commissioning, plus multilingual manuals and videos so your team can run and maintain the line independently.

What if my region has language or internet restrictions?
A

We can supply local-language instructions on a USB drive and offline training materials, so installation and operation are not blocked by network or language limits.

Step 4: Support & Optimize

  • Remote support (video / remote control) for quick diagnosis
  • On-site repair when needed
  • Preventive maintenance planning
  • Free upgrade advice and equipment modification assistance for new materials or capacity
Support & Optimize
What You Need to Consider
How fast can you respond after installation?
A

We respond within 24 hours. Remote video and remote-control diagnosis help resolve most issues quickly; on-site repair is arranged when needed.

Do you provide spare parts and remote diagnosis?
A

Yes. Spare parts guidance, preventive maintenance plans, and remote diagnosis are part of long-term support, so downtime stays as short as possible.

Can existing equipment be upgraded later?
A

When you introduce new materials or need higher capacity, we provide free upgrade advice and modification assistance so the line can grow with your business.
