Single-sided Extrusion Coating And Lamination Unit For Non-woven Substrates
This is a high-speed extrusion lamination line capable of operating at speeds up to 180 m/min. It is designed for processing coating-grade resins—such as LDPE and PP—onto substrates like woven bags and non-woven fabrics. Widely used in sectors including pharmaceutical and food packaging films, office stationery packaging, and construction materials packaging, the line is primarily utilized for the lamination of non-woven fabrics.

Machine Highlights
- Intelligent Control System: The unit utilizes a PLC-based HMI control system supporting preset process parameters, fault self-diagnosis, and remote monitoring. It enables fully automated operation—from unwinding, extrusion coating, and lamination to winding—thereby minimizing manual intervention and enhancing production stability.
- Dynamic Tension and Edge Guiding: Equipped with a fully automatic tension control system and photoelectric/infrared edge-guiding devices, the system ensures smooth substrate transport at high speeds, reduces material loss due to stretching, and prevents edge misalignment.
- High-Speed Winding and Non-Stop Roll Changing: The winding section employs large-diameter, high-speed synchronization technology. It supports automatic cutting, roll changing, and shaft loading/unloading, enabling continuous operation without downtime and significantly boosting production efficiency.
- Versatile Substrate Compatibility: Compatible with extrusion coating resins such as PP, PE, and EVA, and capable of laminating various substrates—including woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, paper, and aluminum foil—to meet the packaging requirements of diverse industries.

FAQ
A hygiene product manufacturer is evaluating coated nonwoven fabric. What improvements does the process bring?
The coating enhances the strength, liquid barrier properties, and surface stability of nonwoven fabrics, making them suitable for products such as diapers and sanitary napkins.
A producer of medical drapes is studying low-porosity composite layers. How can extrusion coating help?
Extrusion lamination creates a uniform, dense structure that reduces the risk of permeation, making it suitable for medical isolation fabrics.
